Not much to tell the world, apart from showing a photo of our cat, a ship and a DC3 I built a while ago, as well as some Real Audio music. (I know there are at least three other Paul Francis' out there with web pages I have seen). I live in
Any who attended the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) School Penang Malaya from 1958 to 1988 may like to click on the link below;
I have included two pages with some of my favorite music clips from the 50's & 60's and the 70's and 80's.
Here is a sample:
Sleep Walk - By Santo and Johny

This is a model of the 'Elizabeth Jonas' that I built from the plans based on the original ship (not a kit). I have been unsuccessful in finding much information about this ship on the Internet. A brief account of it was in the battle against the
Spanish Armada, and some technical details in the Greenwich Maritime Museum. It may have been Francis Drakes' flagship in the raid on Cadiz. According to the plans, it was built in 1587, 135' length, 38' breadth, 18' hold depth, 684 tons, 175 crew, about 42 guns and cost £8500. ![]()

4' wingspan control line DC3 I built from scratch - not a kit. Photo is simulated flight - you can see the wires off the tail and nose. Model has retractable undercarriage, nav and landing lights. Click image to go to the best DC3 site I have seen on the net.

KATRINKA (sadly missed)
If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep.
Then, you must do what must be done
For this, the last battle, can't be won.
You will be sad, I understand
Don't let your grief then stay your hand.
For this day, more than all the rest,
Your love and friendship stand the test.
We've had so many happy years,
What is to come can hold no fears.
You'd not want me to suffer, - so,
When the time comes, please let me go.
Take me where my needs they'll tend.
Only, stay with me until the end.
And hold me close and speak to me,
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know, in time that you will see,
It is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I've been saved.
Don't grieve then, it should be you,
Who decides this thing to do.
We've been so close, we two, these years.
Don't let your heart hold any tears.
Smile, for we walked together,
for a little while.
